Coming Up…
• Senior recognition ads are still available! Srs get your yearbook for free with a full or half page ad in the yearbook. See Mrs. Kumpel (D30). Also, yearbooks are $85 until May 1. Use the payment plan to split up your payments online or @ finance office.
• Prom tickets are on sale for $45 each this week from the Finance Office, must have current school ID to purchase, also money owed screen must be in good standing– get yours early and enjoy the Roaring 20’s @ Petroleum Club Saturday, April 29th, 6-10pm. All guests MUST be cleared by Dean’s Office PRIOR to purchasing their ticket, pick up form from Dean’s Office.
• ASB Election packets will be available soon, listen to announcements.
• STUDENTS & STAFF: We are having a blood drive on March 29th in the small gym. Save a life and donate. Eat a good breakfast that morning before donating. We would like ALL Rebels to participate. Snacks & drinks are provided after donating.
• Attn Students - you may be getting letters in the mail regarding College Admissions or FAFSA/Scholarship Assistance, SEE counseling office before responding to these letters. Many of the services advertised are from FOR PROFIT companies. You should NEVER pay for assistance, the counseling team is here to assist you and we DON’T CHARGE A DIME!
• All boys’ basketball athletes please meet in the big gym after school on Friday March 24th.
• Rebels, interested in learning more about what it takes to go to CSUB and what college life is like? CSUB is hosting Celebrate CSUB where you can enjoy fun, food, and music 9a-1p Saturday April 29th. Come to the career center to pick up a flyer!
• Seniors, are you interested in applying for Taft College? A representative will be coming to campus to talk to you about their campus. Sign up to attend with Ms. Cisneros in the career center.
• Community Service Opportunity: The Lori Brock Museum is looking for students with prior knowledge in robotics, science, technology, engineering, arts, & math to help with their STEAM Saturdays, Spring Break Camp & Summer Camp. Must be at least 16 yrs. old. See Mrs. Ibarra in the counseling office for more information.
• Today there will be a Blue Wave meeting during 4th and 5th lunch in P105
• The new registration deadline to take the April ACT is tomorrow March 24th, however, late fee applies.
