Club Rush Takes Over the Quad

Club Rush Takes Over the Quad

By Abel Soriano Guevara (South High Senior)

On September 13th, 2022, South High students participated in Club Rush. Each club had a table set up in the quad during lunch where potential new members could ask questions and get to know some of the current members of the club. Many of South High’s amazing clubs were present, such as art club, robotics, and the Mexican American Resilience Club Association or MARCA. Mrs. Chapa, who is one of the advisers of MARCA, answered questions by telling students, “MARCA is a community service type of club that hosts events on-campus and connects students with services through CSUB and BC.” Additionally, Mrs. Chapa had this to say about the event: “Club Rush is important because it gives students an opportunity to get involved on-campus.”
