Sewing like Spartans: Sewing Club Returns, By Aubrey Hernandez (South High Junior)

The South High Sewing Club is finally back after being unavailable for three years. Club members are excited to pursue their passion for sewing. For example, Gissele Cruz (12) said, “I'm excited to be in Sewing Club and learn how to sew because it's an important life skill. If I need something fixed, I can save money and fix it myself.” The adviser of the club is Ms. Kelly and she started sewing with her mom when she was 8 years old. Sewing has always been a big part of Ms. Kelly’s life and she's grateful to have the opportunity to share that skill with South High students. Any students interested in Sewing Club can stop by D31 for more information.
