The junior varsity boys’ soccer team demonstrated their hard work and team synergy on January 13th in their match up against the West High Vikings. Teamwork truly makes the dream work when it comes to this team. Jose Herrera (11) reiterated this sentiment before the game, “For a team to be truly successful, the whole team must work together to move forward. A team that works as one succeeds more than a team of individual players.” As a result of this collaboration, South High took a 4-0 win against West. Player #30, Tristan Mateos (11), scored 2 of the 4 goals that lead our boys to victory. The JV boys’ soccer team began their season victorious thanks to these Spartan athletes doing it RIGHT on the field.
