The South High softball program has started preparing for their 2023 league season. The players have been coming out since the end of September to condition for the season and are now currently in their Varsity, JV and F/S teams. One member of the JV team shared why they are excited to start playing again: “I am most excited to get back into pitching and continuing to play softball with the girls I know and are friends with.” Kimberly Garcia (11). A senior from the Varsity team, Samantha Hall, discussed the team dynamic, “As a team, we feel good about this season and as we start playing games, we are feeling excited. This season will be a good one.” The next Spartan softball game will take place on Tuesday, February 28th with Varsity and JV competing at home and F/S competing at Golden Valley High School.
