On Thursday April 13th, South High hosted its annual Spartan Showcase for the incoming freshmen, providing them an opportunity to sign up for clubs and sports they are interested in. The theme for the showcase was “Luau in the Quad”, so each group decorated their table with lots of fun beach and summer decor. Incoming freshmen, their families and current South High students and staff had the opportunity to see various performances throughout the evening; these included: the cheerleaders, the band, and the drumline just to name a few. In between performances, attendees could take advantage of the different food vendors that were available, including Semper Fries. The event was an overwhelming success and South High cannot wait to officially welcome the class of 2027 to campus and teach them what it means to be a Spartan.
