WE want to recognize and celebrate our BSU, Project BEST, YWEL, PODER, and PLUS Leadership students for representing South High with excellence at the Leadership at Max Capacity event hosted at Del Oro High School.
Our BSU, BEST, and YWEL students proudly presented the impactful work they are leading on our campus and in the community under the guidance of Mr. Brent Williams, Staci Wright, Kimberly Jones, Eddie Ramey and Dr. Henderson. They modeled what it means to do it R.I.G.H.T. at South, receiving many compliments on their presentation and motivating other KHSD sites to begin their own journeys for BEST/ BSU/ YWEL.
Our PODER and PLUS students led by Mrs. Rocha and Cervantes, worked alongside other Kern High School District sites, collaborating, learning, and bringing back ideas to strengthen our campus culture. They are already planning to lead our own Connection Project next year at South.
Thank you to everyone who supports and invests in not only these programs, but ALL of OUR Students. Your work, leadership, and mentoring shows and is making a difference.
